Splitport™ Plates

The patent pending Splitport™ plate provides the technician the freedom to install the plate after the cabling is connected. No matter the width of the connector, RGB, VGA and the new DVI cables you just assemble the Splitport™ around the cables and fasten to the backless electrical box.

  • Contractor size SplitportTM Recessed plate is larger than a standard wall plate to cover irregular sheet rock cut outs and damage around the low voltage box.
  • Saves installation time since the cables can be run and the plate installed after.
  • When the mating half is assembled virtually no hole can be seen from the viewers angle.
  • Allows easier cable handling for cable runs that loop back over the scoop.

    The Splitport™ Plus plate is designed with keyed tab features to structurally withstand pulling and pushing of cables as the installer organizes them for a neat "dress out presentation." Installing the Splitport™ Plus plate is easy. Install one half and then the second half, all while the cabling is held or lying naturally out of the way, or just assemble around the cables and slide into position and secure to electrical box. Add the grommet insert to maintain a closed area leaving an aesthetically clean apearance. Just one cable or multiple cables will look equally presentable.
